Warrior or Worrier

Psa 18:29  For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

The newly formed Tamil Nadu government has  set up a Covid-19 war room, that will monitor the available number of beds, ambulance services, and oxygen supply.  What is a war room?  In an office or Government, war rooms are spaces where key people get together to solve a difficult problem.  Truly, this was the need of the hour.

Even our human body has the ability to resist and fight any unwanted guests like bacteria, viruses and fungi.  That is called our immune system.  They wage a war against these enemies to nullify their power.  That is how God has designed us.

With every fourth person getting infected,  it is quite natural that we will be tested positive.  We may not want to be the fourth person.  But what if?   We follow all precautions.  But what if? 

Nobody wants a disease or illness to enter into our homes.   They are unwelcome guests.   But when a country is attacked by enemies, what would a valiant King do?  He will hide himself or face the battle upfront? 

The tiny nation of Israel under the reign of King Jehoshaphat was invaded by three big nations.  On  paper, the enemies would be able to crush Israel hands down.  What was the King's reaction?

1.  He admitted that he was weak against them, but was not willing to concede defeat.

2.  He confessed to God.  He communicated with the Prophets of God. He knew well that He served a God who was greater than these enemies.

3.  The counsel of God was not to retreat but to go to the battle-line.  The King led his people and right in the battle front God crushed the enemies in the way that they had never imagined.

There are some who are afraid of test results.  There are those who want it to be Negative despite having all the symptoms.  I am not saying that it be positive.  What I am saying is what if it is positive?  We are called to Warriors not Worriers.  We are called to face the battle, not run away from it.   Those of who who are tested positive, or have a feeling that you may positive, face it upfront!  The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, The Lord of Hosts is with you!  In the name of Jesus, you will overcome, crush, defeat this illness and bring it under your feet.  If you believe,  say AMEN!
