Marvel
not at this!
A valiant man vanquished his call and went
into a self quarantine, an unsolicited one, in the sight of the Lord.
A man who heard the voice of the God, who spoke
for the Lord, who shook the nation had gone into a hiding….
Before exploring his cave-life, today, I
would like to inscribe something significant.
A word which Jesus spoke. Of
course, it is in sync with what we have been discussing under the caption God's
megaphone. Jesus spoke of a time when
the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
We know that Jesus called Lazarus back to life. But
that was a miracle. But here he is talking of an hour? What is
that hour?
Generally, we believe life ceases when a
person dies. Physically, the person whom we used to addressed with many a
reverential titles, names, salutations just becomes mortal remain, upon his
death. A lifeless body! Death means no
life. This is worldview.
But Jesus seems to bring in a totally
different angle to life and death. Jesus
seems to be in the business of not raising the dead, but calling people dead
back to life. The word says that they that
hear. I hightlight the word, 'that hear'. If the dead, when they hear the voice of
God, can come back to life, how much more alive we can become If we hear his
voice today? Did you hear his voice
today?
(Megaphone would roar)
