When he heard...
In
our previous post, we ended with a pertinent
question. In the context where neither
the state nor its subject are willing to listen to each
other, we wanted to know whether mankind,
in general, and people of God, in particular,
is paying heed to the voice of
God?
A
Servant of God, in his reflection replied that 'failing to hear the voice of God would prove disastrous' to
mankind. It sounds terrible The past, present and even
the future prophecies does indicate to us that we may have to pay, a price, for
not paying heed.
Some
say, where does God speak today? Some
want God to speak to them in the way that
they want to be heard. Some conclude that God has become silent. God has never been silent. God has always been communicating his heart,
his mind, his thoughts, his words, his expectation, his will to mankind. The problem is not with the communicator. The
problem lies with the one who is being
communicated.
However
much I speak, however much I increase the volume of microphone, a person would
fail to hear if (1) His ears are
deaf and (2) His ears are blocked.
God
is speaking still
In
fact more louder than ever.
He
that has ears to hear, he hears.
Him
that hears should not be like one who
hears not
He
that heareth, must know what do do
God
expects a response from us when He speaks….God's voice when it thunders, can
even bring a dead man back to life. It happened in the life of Lazarus. There was another great man in history who did
great exploits for the Lord, who was zealous for the Lord, who withstood evil
forces for the Lord. He was a terror to
devil. But one point, this giant after paying heed to the voice of the
devil's agent went into the cave….a place he was not supposed to be ….now
did God speak to him in the cave?
(Megaphone
will roar)
